Based on article 236-A of the Panama traffic regulations, from April 3, 2017 the ATTT has warned that if you do not have your insurance policy in the vehicle and are involved in an accident, they will impose the fine of 100 dollars. For a routine traffic stop, failure to produce a current policy can result in a fine of 50 dollars. Both infractions may result in removal of the vehicle. Please check that you have a current automobile policy in your vehicle!
Lately, I have experienced delays receiving policies from various insurance companies. Please check the renewal date and call your broker to obtain a current copy of your automobile policy. My cel = 6674-1063
